Join J-PVS

１．Introduction

 
The purpose of the J-PVS is to "promote research in academic fields related to PV, carry out projects related to dissemination of results, and to contribute to the realization and development of a decarbonized society in the future." Anyone who agrees with the activities of the association can become a member, but please read the articles of incorporation and bylaws of the association and understand the purpose of the association before joining .

２．Membership type

 
The J-PVS consists of regular members, organization members, public interest members, student members and honorary members.

1. Regular member: An individual who agrees with the purpose of the J-PVS
2. Organization member: Organization that agrees with the purpose of the J-PVS
3. Public interest members: Non-profit organizations that support the purpose of the J-PVS
4. Student member: Undergraduate students, Graduate students, and equivalent persons
5. Honorary member: A person recommended by the board of directors and decided at the annual meeting from among those who have made outstanding achievements in solar power generation

３．Membership fee

 
Please pay the admission fee for the first year of membership, and the annual membership fee from the second year onwards.
The fiscal year of the J-PVS is from April to March.
Membership fees must be paid in advance, so please pay the membership fee for the next one year from April by the end of March.
If you have not paid the current annual membership fee, please pay it together with the next year's membership fee by the end of March.
Please note that if you do not pay the membership fee for two years, you will lose your membership.

５．Membership application (Regular member/student member)

 
We will register as a member when we confirm both the submission of your membership application form and your payment of the annual membership fee.
 

Membership service: 

1. Participation is free of charge for research meetings hosted by subcommittees limited to members (scheduled to be held about twice a year for each subcommittee). Currently, there are four subcommittees: the Next Generation Solar Cell/Module Subcommittee, the Perovskite Solar Cell Subcommittee, the Next Generation Photovoltaic Power Generation System Subcommittee, and the WinPVJ Subcommittee.
2. You can apply for a general lecture at the "Next Generation Photovoltaic Power Generation Symposium (Annual Academic Lecture)" held every year. In addition, you can participate at the member price. (both apply from 2021)
3. You can participate in research meetings organized by subcommittees that are open to the public at member prices.

 

Membership fee transfer: 

1. The fiscal year of the J-PVS is from April 1st to the end of March. Regardless of the admission date, you will be required to pay the admission fee for the year.
   There are no reductions or refunds due to admission or withdrawal in the middle of the fiscal year.
2. No refunds will be made for membership fees already paid for any reason.
3. Membership qualifications for regular members are automatically renewed, so you will be required to pay the membership fee unless you submit a withdrawal notice.
4. As a general rule, membership fees are paid in advance, so please pay before the new fiscal year.
5. The payment method of the membership fee is as follows.

If you wish to join as a regular member or student member, please access the admission form from the link below and fill in the necessary information. When you have finished filling in the form, please press the "Agree and confirm" button at the bottom of this page. When your registration is successfully completed, you will receive an automatic confirmation email from the secretariat of the J-PVS. If you do not receive an automatic reply email after submitting your registration information, it is likely that you have not registered, so please re-enter your information. Depending on the network, it may take some time to receive the message.

• Confirmation/change of member registration information
• Confirmation of membership fee payment status
• Change password
• Withdrawal application

• If there are any changes to the registered information, please make the necessary changes as soon as possible.
• If there is a delinquency in the membership fee at the time of withdrawal, please submit a withdrawal notice after payment.
  If the payment of the membership fee is delayed for more than two years, the membership will be lost.
• If you continue to be a member, please pay the membership fee for the new fiscal year before the new fiscal year.

７．Membership application for organization members

 

Membership services:

1. We will list the name of the organization member on the homepage and put a link to the desired website.
2. Any number of persons who belong to organization member can participate in the member-only subcommittee meeting free of charge.
3. You can apply for a regular presentation at the annual symposium. (Applied since 2021)
4. Max 10 people/unit who belong to organization member can participate in the annual symposium at the member price. (Applied since 2021)
5. Max 10 people/unit who belong to organization member can participate in the opened submcommittee meeting at the member price.
